Information regarding the processing of personal data – Military University of Technology  

In order to ensure the privacy and transparency of personal data processing and in accordance with fair information practices and the applicable provisions of Regulation (of the European Parliament and the Council EU) 2016/679 as of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation), hereinafter referred to as "GDPR", Military University of Technology (WAT) informs that:

1. The administrator of your personal data is Military University of Technology (WAT) with its registered office in Warsaw, Sylwestra Kaliskiego 2 St., 00-908 Warsaw.
2. Your personal data will be processed in connection with the organization of the seminar entitled " European Union Military Academies Commandants’ Seminar 2025 – EUMACS 2025" in order to take the necessary organizational activities in connection with its implementation, such as: participation in the event, organizational contact, promotion and documentation of the Seminar.
3. The legal basis for the processing of your personal data is:
   • Article 6, paragraph 1, letter a) – consent to the processing of personal data in connection with participation in the Seminar, which will be expressed by completing the registration form,
   • Article 6, paragraph 1, letter a) – consent to the processing of personal data, including the image, in connection with the promotion of the conference and the use of data in promotional materials of the university, which will be expressed by completing the appropriate fields in the registration form,
   • Article 6, paragraph 1, letters c) and e) – processing necessary for compliance with a legal obligation and for the performance of a task carried out in the public interest, in connection with the investigation or defense against possible claims,
   • Article 6, paragraph 1, letter e) – processing necessary for the performance of a task carried out in the public interest, in connection with the organization by the University of scientific events conducted as part of public tasks and their documentation and information about such.
4. Providing your personal data in the registration form is voluntary, but is a condition for participation in the seminar.
5. Giving consent to the processing of personal data in the form of an image is optional and is not a condition for participation.
6. Your personal data will not be made available to other recipients, unless this is required by law.
7. If you agree to the publication of your personal data, including your image, they will be made available to persons visiting the University's websites, the seminar website, related social media portals and other persons who have access to materials prepared in connection with the organization of the seminar.
8. Your personal data will be processed for the period necessary to participate in the seminar and to take the necessary organizational actions in connection with its implementation, as well as for the period of securing any claims or until the consent is withdrawn.
9. Your consent to the processing of personal data may be withdrawn at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of the processing conducted on the basis of consent before its withdrawal.
10. You have the right to access the content of your personal data, the right to correct it, the right to limit the processing of personal data and the right to delete personal data. You have no right to object to the processing of your personal data when it is based on granted consent or a legal obligation.
11. You have the right to file a complaint with the supervisory authority, which is the President of the Personal Data Protection Office.
