Welcome from Host Rector – Commandants

Dear (Rector) Commandants and Commanders, Dear Guests,

we have a great honour and pleasure to host the European Union Military Academies Commandants’ Seminar 2025 (EUMACS 2025) on 27th-30th May 2025 both at the premises of the Military University of Technology in Warsaw (WAT) and Polish Air Force University (PAFU) in Dęblin. Furthermore, on 29th May 2025, European Air Force Academies Commandants’ Conference (EUAFA CC 2025) will take place at the premises of the Polish Air Force University in Dęblin.

The occasion for organizing the events by both WAT and PAFU is particularly significant for us since Poland has been holding the Presidency of the Council of the European Union from January to June 2025. Therefore, we do strongly believe that EUMACS 2025 and EUAFA CC 2025 will greatly contribute to the Polish Presidency and its motto: “Security, Europe!”

Saying that, we are deeply convinced that both EUMACS 2025 and EUAFA CC 2025 will be not only an excellent opportunity to discuss and share the current experience concerning the process of the internationalization in military higher education institutions in the EU countries but also will enable to raise the significant security and defense issues in terms of changeable geopolitical situation worldwide.

During the events, participants will also be able to be familiarized with the training facilities of the Military University of Technology and the Polish Air Force University, followed by the introduction to the Polish historical and cultural heritage while Warsaw Old Town sightseeing.
